So, why Agile? The future is unpredictable, and with the world and its technology changing ever faster, it is creating greater uncertainty on our needs and requirements. Projects that are able to embrace Agile are able to adapt faster, delivering little and often, testing the environment and remaining customer-focused. Scrum is the most popular agile methodology practiced globally.

The Scrum Foundations course is intended as a great introduction to Scrum. Participants learn the fundamentals of Scrum and experience the Scrum way with hands-on exercises. The course combines instruction and team exercises, taking through students a learning journey of why Scrum works and why Scrum does not.

Participants should expect an experiential and fun class by working together in sprints to build a product. The exercises are designed to demonstrate the rules of Scrum and expose the ScrumButs.

This course provides the foundation leading to the role-focused training of ScrumMaster and Scrum Product Owner. Both the Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner courses prepare the students to sit for the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPOI) certification exams respectively.

Participants are eligible to claim 14 PMI PDUs upon attending this course.
